First Lines Contest 2018: Human Experience

Paul Keene Updated March 17, 2018
First Lines Contest 2018: Human Experience
Orville Edgar McBanes, the eldest child of seven, showed not a sign of being from a poor family. Rather than lack, he concentrated on good, filling his head with riches, castles, beautiful clothes, and a handsome pair of white horses that pranced up and down Springfield's busy streets, pulling a carriage. Inside the coach, Orville held the hand of Annalee, the girl he'd set his eyes on since the age of six.
