Born as a child of The Great Depression, Rita Grisman left the farm in Nebraska to dance with the stars (like Frank Sinatra) on the hills of Hollywood then moved on up to The Big Apple to become a vital part of advertising’s Golden Age. There, she worked for some of the world’s greatest marketing agencies in the Swinging 60’s era of three martini lunches as a brilliant copywriter creating memorable ads (with Lauren Hutton, Tom Selleck, Jean Shrimpton and many others). She crafted iconic taglines for perfumes that still run today.
