First Lines Contest 2019: The Mouse's Jounrey

Ken Donaldson Updated May 12, 2019
Mouse Journey volume 1 front
The Mouse was very pleased to find himself awake knowing that everything, he had experienced during the passing darkness had been nothing, but a dream. Slowly stretching his arms up above his head from where he found himself sitting on the floor after falling out of bed. He began to let out a yawn and kick his legs forward as the glorious feeling of aliveness pump through his body. “Oh Yes” said the Mouse jumping to his feet and climbing up over the top of his bed to get a better look at the lovely bright passing lightness outside.
