Annual Review – 2017
It’s that time of the year again. Time for a look back over the last twelve months and for a gaze into the crystal ball for 2018.
2017 has been a big year: 15 new titles across my range of writing interests.
The self-help guy:Everyday Productivity Everyday Money Management Field Notes for Writers The Living Alone Journal
The mystic:Sharing the Journey Coloring Journal My Life is My Responsibility: Insights for Conscious Living My Life is My Responsibility Workbook I Am Affirmations: The Power of Words
The crime writer:Whistleblower The Identity Thief A Gun of Many Parts Bones in the Forest A Deadly Game of Hangman Taken The Identity Thief Collection
Early in 2017, I became part of the Books Go Social network – a group of like-minded authors. That’s where most of the articles in Authors to Explore came from, including the guest posts. I hope you’ve tried some of the books and written a few reviews. All authors like reading reviews and they’re not hard to write.
Going forward, I have three works in progress, book 6 in the Stella Bruno Investigates series, the second Stella Bruno Investigates Collection – both of which are in the final phase of pre-launch review and I have them pencilled in for release mid to late January, and a book of reflections on the affirmations in I Am Affirmations, which I hope to release late January or early February. I still have a bit of work to do on that one.
Having spent most of the second half of 2017 writing the 6 novellas of the Stella Bruno Investigates series, I’m planning a less hectic writing schedule for 2018. My current plan is to write the next two Inspector West novels and a general fiction novel, and maybe some short stories.
As it’s important to reward yourself and celebrate your achievements, I’ve got a couple of holidays planned for 2018 – you might see me wandering around Europe and the UK between March and May, if you’re in the right place.
Best Wishes for a Happy New Year!
