Back to school (once again)

Summer is drawing to a close, and as usual I enrolled in a few courses to increase the number of reasons because of which my CV will be rejected due to overeducation.
But really, screw them.
I like learning new things, I like trying new activities.

So I went and I enrolled in a course by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas. The course is called Listen up! How to launch and grow a hit podcast, and it will hopefully help me get back on track with my podcasting experiments.

The course is fun, the instructors top notch, and I am really happy with what I’ve seen so far.

I’d love to revive the KaravanCast, but even more I’d like to do something completely different, aimed at the Italian public, and related to science, and environmental sciences in particular, putting together my love for science fiction, for teaching and my experience in the field of renewable energies and new technologies.
I am currently pretty amped-up, having gone through the first lesson of this five-weeks course – and it’s always like that, isn’t it?
I tend to become readily enthusiastic.
On the other hand, there is a theme, a topic and a format that I am the best suited person in the room to try and tackle.
So, why not waste a few hours drawing up a plan?

Attending online classes is a wonderful way to get out of the bottom-of-a-well, intellectual isolation feeling that dominates the countryside.
So, the jolt of energy attending this course has caused me, alone, is already a great thing.
Anytrhing else that comes from it, will be a bonus.
