Spring's Eternal Song Cover Reveal

It's almost the first day of spring, and with that comes a new book release! I've been holding onto this one for a very long time and I'm so happy to finally be able to release this for you all to enjoy! Why did I hold onto it for so long? Timing, it's everything, right? I originally wrote this as a writing prompt for a publisher. When that didn't pan out, I set it to the side when my life got busy. Now, I've taken some time to make it what I wanted it to be (versus what the publisher had laid out for requirements). The idea for this story came from a real life event, but of course everything else is fictitious. I could go on and on about this book and how much I love Spring and Vince, but...

Memories of Chronosalis

Exciting news! My new book, Memories of Chronosalis, will be available in late November/early December. I am really passionate about this book as it has taken me a couple years to put together. After several drafts, I am confident that this book will blow everyone away! At first, I was very nervous about writing this book as I was taking a huge leap of faith with it. Memories of Chronosalis is primarily fantasy with elements of science fiction. It is loosely based on my old Amber Oak series, the only thing I really kept are some names of the characters. I really wasn't sure where the book was taking me, but I was so happy to go along on the adventure! I can't wait for it to be published so I...

On September 13, 2017 it was released for publication on  CreateSpace  and since yesterday, September 16, 2017, it is available for purchase on  Amazon  as well. If you prefer a paperback over an e-book (like me), go  grab your copy ! You curl up in your new hideout, and the soft light of the April afternoon washes your worn-out body. You are aware of my closeness. You confirm that with a gentle sigh while my palm tenderly slides down your fur. You still like my touch, although pain is what you now mostly feel. And uncertainty—b...

Release of the NovelRank Stalker

Today is release day for Alex's Return.Today is also the day the NovelRank Stalker, retired for a few years, is reborn. I don't know about other authors, but as calm as I try to be on release day, whether it's an anthology of short stories, or like this one, a full length novel (in romance terms), it never works out that way.Several years ago, I discovered a website called NovelRank and very quickly became addicted on release day and whenever my fellow authors had new releases. According to the website, NovelRank is the best free resource for authors to track the sales rank of their print and ebooks on Amazon with charting, sales estimates, RSS feeds and more. You can add your book with just ...

Book Launch Guest Post: The Making of Jane Austen, by Devoney Looser

New on Amazon US and Amazon UK   Just how did Jane Austen become the celebrity author and the inspiration for generations of loyal fans she is today? Devoney Looser’s The Making of Jane Austen turns to the people, performances, activism, and images that fostered Austen’s early fame, laying the groundwork for the beloved author we think we know.   British women writers of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries fascinate me. And yes, there were hundreds of them publishing their work. It wasn’t only Jane Austen and Mary Shelley. From the way the two of them are dominating the conversation today, however, you might be forgiven for thinking they were the only females in all England who ever th...

Airship Flamel For the past three years, the authors participating in Clockwork Alchemy, San Jose, California’s steampunk con, have put together short story anthologies the proceeds from which are donated to various organizations promoting literacy.  The concept is simple–each author writes two short stories separated by a duration of time.  Two years ago, it was Twelve Hours Later .  Last year it was Thirty Days Later .  This year the theme is Some Time Later–giving the authors a bit more chronological leeway. I am honored to have been able to participate in this event for the last two years, and proud to announce that this year’s...
