I am trusting

I always trust people – until they demonstrate they cannot be trusted.

This means there have been times when I’ve discovered my trust was misplaced. Most times, though, I have found people to be trustworthy.

I trust in the process of life.

I trust that things always work for the best – even if I have to contemplate the outcome before recognizing that truth.

We take a lot of things, like beliefs and cultural norms, on trust until we are old enough to explore them for ourselves.

Some of us are so trusting, we never question what we were told by our parents or elders, and we go through life never questioning the beliefs we took on in childhood.

At some point, though, you need to trust your own understanding of life. You need to trust your own experiences.

You need to listen to your own voice and ask your own questions, otherwise you’ll never get your own answers.
