Magic is our term to label something we can’t explain.
It is unexpected and usually harmless.
A magician’s cape that hides the live rabbit. The swords that go through the magician’s body but don’t. Sleight of hand is a form of art that brings smiles of amazement to all ages.
We are going through very difficult times. It seems as if evil and chaos are even more out of control. It will take a real magician to bring smiles back.
Except that we all have our own capes. Given to us at birth. Each of us is so unique. There are people who are waiting for us. We love bringing smiles to children. Isn’t a child’s laugh the best??
The last magician magic I saw was at a Navy reunion. There was this teammate Chuck, the snare man, who did his magic in the water a long time ago, who now did his magic with cards and sleight of hand walking around from table to table. It was such clean fun. He was an artist, painting smiles on faces so wanting.
When you do things for others you too are a magician.
To them, to see that someone cares makes smiles come back. You feel private pride deep within. Magic, absolute magic.
We are all here on earth to make others smile. If one gets too caught up in self or all the plentiful distractions, one will never seize the moment that could have been.
These moments are seen from the heart if it is free to see…….
2,000 years ago magic started.
