My friend is a stone mason. He carries large rocks and hand chisels them into wall pieces. Handmade foundations of sweat and probably a little cursing. Then he goes to church. LOL
His life is physical. Unlike most professions… mind and extra body goes into every long hour of the day. The result lasts forever. Stone foundations.
What our country is lacking is the understanding that for something to be good it takes real effort not entitlement. Most of our immigrant population are honored to have hard work that pays… for where they come from it does not. Let’s stop slamming our country and rebuild her. From infrastructure to bureaucracy we need to reorganize and refocus.
Our forefathers laid a great foundation for us to build on, not to dilute with lawsuits.
Why can’t our schools teach foundational values? Why? Is not a teacher free to teach? To teach from the heart? Stone by stone?
Right now we have indulged ourselves on a path back to the stone age. To empty quarries in the mind.
Lest we look in the mirror with honesty we will see no reflection. Other than the reflection of lost hopes and dreams. A wasteland for generations to come. Or maybe where large bureaucratic dinosaurs consume our every breath. Or maybe extinction.
The percentage of the human race being stoned continues to rise.
Is this the harbinger of our new stoned age???
