Update re: My Appearance at Heather Stewart’s Writers for New Orleans
Hi, everyone. In a rather unexpected turn of events, I will be speaking and signing books during Writers for New Orleans, at the Hotel Monteleone, over Labor Day Weekend. I had originally planned to attend as a learner, but these opportunities were presented to me and I decided to take advantage.
On Saturday afternoon, Sept. 1, I’ll be on this panel:
4:15 pm – 5:00 pm Panel Five – Where Do You Find These People? – Character Building and Development
Moderator: Kristi Ahlers
Panelists: Stella Barcelona, Amanda Berry, Sheila Sobel, Sharon E. Cathcart, Debby Grahl
Some characters just stay with you forever. How do authors create characters who are fully developed and leave a lasting impression?
Then, on Sunday, Sept. 2, I’ll be participating in a tea from 11 AM – 12:15 PM, and signing books from 12:45 – 3 PM. This is a great chance for you to pick up a book and have me sign it, thanks to the good folks at Bent Pages Bookstore, in Houma, La. They’ll be on-site with books by all of the attending authors, so you can do some “one-stop shopping” and then get our signatures.
There will be limited copies of Bayou Fire, In the Eye of The Beholder, and In The Eye of The Storm available for purchase. I’ve also donated one copy of Seen Through the Phantom’s Eyes to the Wheel of Fortune raffle that will take place during the signing.
I hope to see you there!
