Janice Spina is a multi-award-winning author with ten young children's books, Louey the Lazy Elephant, Ricky the Rambunctious Raccoon, Jerry the Crabby Crayfish, Lamby the Lonely Lamb, Jesse the Precocious Polar Bear, Broose the Moose on the Loose, Sebastian Meets Marvin the Monkey, Colby the Courageous Cat, Jeffrey the Jittery Giraffe, Clarence Henry the Hermit Crab, five Middle Grade/Preteen/Young Adult books, Davey & Derek Junior Detectives, Book 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. She is also a copy editor, writer of poetry, blogger and supporter of her fellow authors. Hunting Mariah and How Far Is Heaven are her novels and a short story collection all published under J.E. Spina.

She is working on a sequel to her first novel, Hunting Mariah, a children's book, and began a mystery series for girls and a fantasy series for young adults. Janice will eventually publish these books over the next few years. She has a few children's books which are ready for illustrations by her talented husband, John, who has illustrated all her children's books and created their wonderful covers.

Her logo is Jemsbooks - books for all ages! Her motto is - Reading Gives You Wings to Fly! Her goal is to encourage children of all ages to read.

Janice's hobbies besides writing are crocheting, exercising to keep in shape, going to the movies with her husband or out to lunch or dinner, reading, book reviewing, blogging and spending time with her five grandchildren.

Janice resides in New Hampshire with her husband and two tanks of fish, one tropical and the other fresh water.
