DOG WATER FREE, A Memoir
Genre: Coming-of-Age, True Story
Themes: Fate; Survivor Guilt; Faith; Closure; Redemption

In the dark and quirky tradition of Daniel Handler’s Lemony Snicket, the true story of DOG WATER FREE is a timeless saga that recounts an uplifting and unexpectedly humurous real-life series of unfortunate events that mark the destiny of a boy named Mikee, whose coming-of-age search for emotional truth lands a dumbstruck orphan from the heart of Detroit’s Westside front and center before icons of culture that have shaped the mindsets of nations: England’s Queen; America’s Maestro; the first non-Italian Pontiff in more than 400 years; and a young co-ed who would become the first woman in history to lead an Islamic nation.
