Book Description

The Time Thief is one of those rare books in which each of the five main characters take on a true cause of their own: Professor Royale, whose time theories are unique and provocative, will make the reader reevaluate their own concepts of time. The professor’s father, Marvin, Sr., who seeks the sweet release of death, dances with a skeleton and meets God. The father’s caretaker, Mildred, suddenly realizes her true purpose. The professor’s favorite students, Jacob, who puts words into action, and his girlfriend, Sarah, who puts action into words, and ends the Iraq War.
Enjoy the comedic fallout as these five interact, revealing their own philosophies and goals as they go, leaving the reader in a fresh state of mind, never to think the same way again.

Charles Stoll was born on Long Island in 1956. He won the N.C.T.E. National Award (National Council of Teachers of English) in 1973 and was granted a full scholarship to Syracuse University. He was in the Honors Program, Independent major, and studied Utopian societies, comparative religions, philosophy and psychology. He joined Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. In 1975, his professor challenged him to write three books in three years to hone his writing skills. Forty years later, he found the time and energy to accomplish that goal. He published "Enigma, discovering the moments that form your life" in 2014, "The Time Thief" in 2015 and "Sorry and Morticum", in July 2016. All of his books portray philosophy, spirituality and sexuality as they actually exist in the present day.

If you’d like to examine the moments that make you who you are, you’ll enjoy "Enigma". You may be surprised to learn it’s not just the big moments that last, but certain conversations and smaller things you’ve observed along the way.

If you’d like to have a rollicking philosophical adventure with five headstrong personalities, read "The Time Thief". The cemetery scene, alone, makes the trip worthwhile. When these five personalities merge, they can end wars.

But if you’d like to know what life in Daytona in the year 3022 is like, you’ll have to wait until July, 2016 for Sorry and Morticum. The rivers and oceans have all evaporated and a conscious fog now covers the land. After the Robotic, Insect and Climate Wars, many of the hidden creatures of the earth rise to the surface. Mutants, Sea Sprites, Mutmuts, Freemonkeys, Wizards, Werewolves and, yes, humans must work together to overcome surreal obstacles to recreate earth's former glory. Suspend disbelief and dive in.
