"Mai Tai Man" is an excellent short novel, combining the best of holiday romance with a bit of exciting adventure. Two attractive people are stuck with each other during a hurricane in Mazatlán. Summer is not quite over her ex while Alex seems to good to be true. The morning after too many Mai Tai's there is the awkward moment of 'what next?'. As the romance sparkles, the chemistry and the hot sex take their mind off the storm, a criminal crosses their path. I don't want to give away much more so you can enjoy the story yourself. Devonshire has written two great credible and likeable characters with excellent chemistry between them. I loved the setting during the hurricane, an emergency situation where almost anything is allowed and possible. There is just enough blend of danger and adventure, possibilities and heroism. A wonderful read.
