The four year olds in a transitional kindergarten class just adored this book and were fascinated by the book trailer. I highly recommend this book for any elementary school classroom, but most especially grades K-2. "The Seven Wonders of the World" inspires children to explore and learn about the world outside of their own familiar surroundings and is whimsically delightful even for adults.

"The Seven Wonders of the World (My First Travel Books Book 3)" by Anna Othitis is yet another fantastic picture books for children that will teach them about beautiful and magical places or wonders of the world. In this excellent series Othitis describes amongst other worldwide famous sights the Pyramids in Mexico, Petra in Jordan and the Great Wall of China. She uses her trade mark infectuous excitement to stunn her young readers into awe and fascination while teaching them a few things about the world. These books take me back to my own childhood and my fascination with foreign places and famous sights. Books like the ones from this series are the perfect tool to educate while entertain and make our children aware of history, other cultures and the treasures that are out there.

The second book in the author's MY FIRST TRAVEL BOOKS series is a treat for children and adults alike. This fun, fact-filled book was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. The appealing illustrations and accessible language would be a great addition for any classroom library. Well done!
