"Amalfi Affair" by Sabrina Devonshire is a great holiday romance with some adrenaline action rolled into it. A female CIA agent on leave in Italy meets a Navy Seal. They begin a hot and steamy romance during their week cycling but then they need to go their separate secret ways. However, this is not all she wrote as their story starts again under different circumstances nine months later. This is an intense and exciting read, full of life and powerful emotions. The romance is hot, the holiday feel great, the chemistry and emotions are deep and believable and the action rounds the entire thing up perfectly. Romance, and thriller in one, this is an exciting rollercoaster. Told with a few time lapses this is well plotted as well as well written. Hugely enjoyable.
