Katie pulls you in with the beautiful cover and the sweet title and then she throws you into a world of murder and dead people. Don’t be fooled though, there’s plenty of sweetness too, but not before you work your way through several encounters with dead people who want Spring to know their story.
Being a nurse and a medium, Spring sees strangeness daily and on every level. She’s decided on a solitary life of secrecy until a chance encounter in the park, late one night after work, changes everything. Now with love in her life, she’s decided to open herself up and share her life with the people who care about her the most. Little does she know, sharing her secrets puts her in danger and in the line of a madman who wants to see her dead.
In the end, Spring gets the life she deserves, a murderer is dead, a child’s life has been saved, and the parents of several young people can rest easy knowing their children didn’t die at their own hands. –Yeah, like I said, there’s a lot going on, but you’ll love every second of it.
Spring and Vince made me fall in love, laugh, cry and shiver in anticipation all while forcing me to sleep with the light on. As I said, this book has something for everyone. It’s a solid 5-star read that won’t disappoint!
