I love to travel and was attracted to this novel because of its broad international backdrop. Ms. Harman's obvious familiarity and love of Europe, art and French cuisine made this a particularly enjoyable read for me. This book is my introduction to Author Dianne Harman's Coyote series and I can't wait to read her first novel in this series, Blue Coyote Motel, where I can officially meet Maria, who assumes a new identity as a widow--Elena-in Coyote in Provence. Bored with her new life, Elena decides to apply for a job in a popular local French bakery. Introduction of a handsome undercover agent, stolen art work, romance and international espionage add to the existing intrigue of Elena's past life and mysterious death of her husband. Mystery, romance and international culture make this a great read!
