Since publishing her first book in 2013, Nachole Johnson has been a prominent blogger and commentator on issues that affect nursing. In the nursing field for over 15 years, her wealth of experience and education allows her to offer knowledge to help others in nursing; whether starting out or wanting to re-invent their career. Nachole’s first book, which she said she started as a “whim”, opened doors for her writing career. “You’re a Nurse and Want to Start Your Own Business? The Complete Guide” helped nurses’ steer the choppy waters of striking out on their own. Her own blog, renursing.com, is dedicated to all nurses who want a change in their profession, whether it be moving to another specialty, starting their own business, or wanting to completely change directions but still incorporate their nursing skills. Nachole is a regular contributor to Minority Nurse Magazine and www.dailynurse.com as a writer. She is also on the Advisory Board of Daily Nurse. When she is not working as an FNP or writing Nachole enjoys spending time with her family, working out, reading and doing “anything related to art.” Nachole is currently practicing as an NP in an occupational health and urgent care setting.
