Ron Lewis’ education and career are firmly rooted in science. But a curse that dates back to the days of slavery has plagued him since childhood.
Born in a black ghetto in Chicago in the 1960s, Ron’s pragmatism is at odds with his experiences; whether it’s the trials of an interracial relationship or the supernatural forces that he can’t seem to avoid.

Just when he thinks he’s finally found peace of mind, Ron’s life is upended by tragedy. He gets the opportunity to use science to try to communicate with the dead, and to finally confront the evil that has plagued him and his family for generations.

That’s when all hell breaks loose.

I finally reached Belfast on the 4th of August and I have been walking around, visiting places and meeting friends.
On this video, I'm going toThe Giant's Ring which is a 4000 years old Celtic structure including a Giant circle and a tomb entrance. Then I decided to go to Sir Thomas and lady Dixon's park which was about an hour walk away. So you'll also see pictures along the Lagan river.

This time, we took the train back to Normandie to a little village called Giverny. This is the place where Monet created his nympheas pond and did a lot of his paintings.
To get there, you have to take the train to Vernon and then take a bus or in our case the Giverny town train to go to the village. It's also not too far if you want to walk.
The place was really beautiful. The garden doesn't look like it did on Monet's time since now they have planted flowers to have a bloom all year long but the pond style looks the same. There are a lot of Nympheas mixed with the reflection of the clouds on the water.
I recently read a book called "Nympheas Noirs" by Michel Bussi which contains a description of the village and Monet's house and garden since it is located in Giverny. It was a really good read and I highly recommend it. In English, it is called "Black Water Lilies".

Today I have for you a video of Honfleur in 2 parts.

First there is a little part from when I went there with my friends so it comes after the Trouville video.
And second is the second half of the conférence weekend day trip. So it come after yesterday's video at Étretat.

It shouldn't be too confusing and anyway, it's the same place.

This time, I am visiting Étretat with some people of the conference during one of the weekend tour. We took the bus to get there. It's about one hour and a half away from Deauville. We climbed both cliffs and then took the bus to Honfleur which you will see in the next video.

I am now in Normandie after a bit of trouble with my flight back from Corsica. I'm attending a conference there but I'm also enjoying the scenery. The conference is in Deauville but I'm staying in Trouville which is just next door and a bit cheaper. I'll also move around a bit for sight-seeing during the conference weekend.

I'm sorry to be putting them up so far apart. I'm a bit busy at a conference at the moment.
On this video, we went to see "Les sanguinaires," it's and archipelago with a few island and a peninsula, west of Ajaccio!
There is a Génoise tower on the hill that was build in the 15 hundreds to prevent the attack from the Italians and the Barbary Pirates. It reminds me a bit of the movie, "Il deserto dei Tartari", that I went to see at the Italian cinema a few weeks ago.

We went to Bonifacio which is the city at the southern end of Corsica. From the citadel lowest wall, we could see the island of Sardinia on the other side of the sea. This other island is part of Italy.
We walked in the citadel city and went shopping a little bit for souvenir.

I'm traveling in Europe at the moment and I sent a day in Paris on my way to Corsica.
We went on a one-hour boat tour on the Seine river and we also visited an English Bookshop.

I went to the Steampunk Park which is a newish event in Tokyo Akihabara. It was hard to find and pretty small but still fun.
